EMS is proud that the IoT Sub-metering Solutions won the 2023 Taiwan Excellence Award.
IoT Sub-metering solutions have significantly reduced communications costs and widely applied in smart city projects.
The sub-metering solution has been awarded by 2018 Taiwan Excellence Award and widely implemented in the ASEAN markets. The smart meters can automatically label with unique number and 4G data logger can read and distinguish each meter data according to unique number.
In addition, it can support different housing projects, from 40 households to 600 households.
Nowadays, water sub-metering solutions have been applied to 29,000 households with more than 95% market shares Also, it not only transmits water consumption data, but also consumption patterns, such leakage alarms and reverse alarms by edge-computing functionality.

About Taiwan Excellence Awards
The Taiwan Excellence Awards were established by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 1993. Every year, eligible candidates are subjected to a rigorous and stringent selection system that covers four major aspects of “R&D”, “Design”, “Quality” and “Marketing” to identify outstanding products that offer “Innovative Value” while satisfying the key criterion of being “made in Taiwan”. Products that have been selected for the Taiwan Excellence Awards would serve as examples of the domestic industries and be promoted by the government in the international market in an effort to shape the creative image for Taiwanese businesses.
