Water Loss Asia 2018 took place from 29^th~31th, August, in Kaohsiung Exhibition Center (KEC) in Taiwan. Taiwan Water Corporation (TWC) and Protemp Group (Malaysia) co-host the conference, workshop, and exhibition in Taiwan. The conference engages the experts from water utilities, industry and research institutes from all over the worlds to share the latest innovative technologies and discussed how to achieve better NRW management in Asia.

The components of NRW contain many factors, including pipe leakages, ineffective billing, poor pressure management, wrong water meter installation, and aging infrastructure. Energy Management System (EMS) represents the member of “Taiwan water resource- A Team” to join the conference to share our successful experiences of NRW management in Taiwan. We have published 2 essay, “The Analysis of Wireless Pressure Monitoring Applications Cases” and “The Analysis of the Water Meter Management and Application and the Reduction of NRW” on the venue and received many feedbacks from the world delegates.

NRW has been a big challenge encountered by Asian utilities. So, it’s hoped that utilities from Asia can learn the latest technology from Water Loss Asia 2018, and all can reduce the NRW and save more water to build a better living environment for the next generation in Asia.
